Wusage

Wusage by Boutell runs just as well on virtually every operating system, including Windows 95/98/NT, Macintosh, Solaris, Linux, and most flavors of Unix. Wusage can also read logs generated by nearly every type of Web server, including Apache, Microsoft IIS, WebStar, and many others.

Wusage offers the same attractive Web-based user interface on all supported operating systems. Users can also administer the program remotely from any computer with a Web browser.

The program lets users compare different documents throughout the lifetime of a web site with easily printed 3-D bar charts. It can also tell users exactly what search keywords visitors are using to find their site.

Wusage 6.0 also allows users to "drill down" from an individual document to discover which pages on the Web link to that document. The program also allows users to track the most commonly followed "trails" through their site, revealing what customers are really after and the path they follow to get there. Trails can even begin with pages on other sites. Advanced features allow users to discover how many users came from a particular site and ended up at a particular page.

Wusage's incremental database allows users to retire log files as soon as they are analyzed, saving time and disk space.

Wusage can also send reports by email, as well as generating easily printed, attractive HTML reports with full-color charts and graphs. When supported by a Web server, Wusage's support for "cookies" allows better visit analysis.

Wusage 6.0 can analyze compressed files, and log files can be analyzed directly by FTP. Downloading log files in advance is not required.

A single copy of Wusage costs $75. An ISP or site license costs $300, and a global license costs $2,000.
