BPA Interactive

BPA Interactive is the Internet arm of BPA International, which audits the circulation of business publications. It provides accurate, independent, third-party verification of Web site traffic, and impressions and click-through rates.

BPA is the only not-for-profit Web auditing firm on the Web. Unlike firms that count Web traffic and claim to be auditors, BPA Interactive restricts itself solely to confirming data that have already been collected - and therefore has no possible conflicts of interest.

BPA Interactive uses a Web audit methodology based on a site's entire log file. BPA conducts real-time and historical testing, employing a series of analytical tools to ensure appropriate checks and balances.

BPA verifies general traffic patterns on the basis of page requests during the period audited. If a site requires user registration, the audit confirms registered users' demographics. BPA also conducts ad-specific audits that verify ad impressions and click-throughs.
