Relax

Relax is a free WWW log file referring URL and search engine keyword analysis tool.

The Perl script recognizes numerous search engines and organizes popular keywords and URLs used to get to a site. In version 2.8, Relax recognizes almost 520 search engines. It generates lists of URLs directing to user's pages with a count of the number of times each referring URL was detected.

Relax can be used to track down bad links, measure the success of banner ads and affiliate programs, improve the understanding of a site's visitors, and track down potential intellectual property infringements, as well as to improve site's position in the search engines and to increase traffic.

Relax supports logs in RefererLog, NCSA extended/combined TransferLog, and WebSTAR format, and it requires Perl 5 to run.
