L’Oréal Paris tapped R/GA to be its worldwide interactive agency of record. The assignment, which followed a six-month review, includes digital marketing for the client's cosmetics, skincare and hair products.


Dow Jones Online made some changes in its ad sales team. Brian Quinn, who came to the company through its acquisition of MarketWatch, was promoted to VP of advertising. Additionally, Rich Knopke becomes Eastern region manager of advertising; Dana Berger moves up to executive director of advertising; and Ed Diller joins as development manager for the WSJ Online.


One to One Interactive hired Dino Cattaneo as group director of its technology/media/telecommunications and its financial services divisions. Cattaneo joins from Digitas, where he held various senior roles.


Optiem promoted David Mead to director of production. He was previously senior interactive developer.
