Univision Online named Derek Zabbia vice president of advertising sales for the Southwest and Southeast regions. The interactive subsidiary of Spanish-language media company Univision Communications hired Zabbia from AOL, where he was national accounts director of media.

Buzznet hired three execs for its sales team. The social media network appointed Jennifer Balch, formerly of MySpace, as West Coast sales director; Dina Bloch, formerly of NationalGeographic.com, as senior sales director, East Coast; and Andrea Greifenberger formerly of Time Inc., as East Coast sales director.

Zanox appointed Michael Hines president of its U.S. operations. Prior to joining the performance-based multi-channel commerce company, Hines was senior vice president of Web development at online marketing agency Proxicom, recently acquired by iCrossing.
