I agree. Too many people jumped at the headline and didn't look deeper into this issue, many SEO professionals included. For me this is a good development for the future of Flash/SEO and one that I will watch closely over the new few months. I will have to see some solid and consistent results before making any claim that Flash is now SEO-friendly.
