Hi-Stats

Hi-Stats is a log file analysis program that crunches the data in a Web server access log and provides detailed HTML-based reports pertaining to user traffic patterns. The software is able to handle multiple log file formats, including those maintained by Apache, Microsoft's IIS and Site Server, and Netscape. To use the program, users must have access to the Web server's log files.

Hi-Stats works by importing the server access log into its own log file collection and format, interpreting the data therein, and offering report options to the user. Among the information that can be reported by the product (subject to the availability of the data in the log) are unique sessions and hits, traffic figures (sessions/hits) per hour, referring URLs, and most frequently downloaded pages. Reports can be setup to be delivered automatically to selected users via E-Mail, or saved to disk for further use. Users can specify the time frame for analysis via a date range, or auto select a commonly reported period such as a day, week, or month.

Hi-Stats is available in Basic, Pro, and Enterprise versions. The Basic version allows reporting for up to 3 sites and is priced at $99.99; the Pro version supports up to 50 sites and costs $199.99; and the Enterprise version supports unlimited sites at $499.99. Volume discounts, an ISP based version, and a free trial version are also available.
