Let's look at the new commercials Bing is using to promote its ownership with Facebook: "Sushi" and "Chromeo."
Bing continues its innovative push and its very evident desire to be your search engine of choice. On that line, Bing now integrates friends you have on Facebook and what they have "liked."
This is an important evolution, as we have known for some time that user-generated reviews are incredibly powerful sales tools. User-generated reviews from your friends stand to be even more powerful.
This Bing-Facebook partnership is an incredibly savvy move for both companies. Bing and Facebook united will likely be a serious contender for people's primary source of information gathering.
If you are in the habit of just using Google for all of your search results, I strongly encourage you to try a few searches on Bing. I think you might be pleasantly surprised at the results you get.
