Google Scooter Etiquette

  |  September 20, 2007

google ny_scooter-o.JPGThis morning Google's New York office opened its doors to media. A pre-session conversation with Tim Armstrong, Google's president of advertising and commerce, revealed a certain scooter etiquette practiced around the NY office, after a few incidents. He said because the hallways are so long, people really pick up speed. The perfect storm occurs when someone walks out of a room, which has a sliding door and is not so easy to detect when wheeling down those hallways. Armstrong also said there are parking racks for scooters. A few people upgraded to motorized scooters, which is no longer allowed.
