New Hires at Organic; IAC Chooses e-Dialog; Epsilon Promotes Harrison and Das
Jeanniey Mullen joined Zinio.com as chief marketing officer. Mullen left a position as executive director, senior partner, worldwide e-mail marketing at OgilvyOne Worldwide to join the digital publishing and marketing services firm. Mullen is also founder of the E-mail Experience Council and a ClickZ columnist.
Organic hired two execs. The agency named Dean McRobie executive director of project management and technology and Bryan Fuhr group director of strategy.
IAC/InterActiveCorp selected e-Dialog as its e-mail service provider. IAC businesses, including LendingTree, Evite, TravelSmith, Connected Ventures and others will use e-Dialog’s e-mail marketing services.
Epsilon promoted Chris Harrison to chief technology officer, strategic database services and Purandar Das to chief technology officer, interactive services. Harrison and Das were both previously senior vice presidents within the strategic database services division of the marketing services firm.
Travel Ad Network opened offices in London and Montreal. The travel advertising network hired Ray Witter to runs its London office, and tasked Tom Dunning with managing the Montreal office.
RMG Connect, JWT Worldwide’s digital and relationship marketing network, opened an office in Dallas. Urvashi Pitre, senior partner, chief marketing information officer at RMG Connect will manage the office.
Major League Baseball’s Web site joined Millennial Media’s mobile advertising network. MLB Advanced Media, the interactive media and Internet division of Major League Baseball, manages MLB.com and its mobile publishing component.
Virgin America tapped Eleven to launch its advertising campaign. The online and offline campaign for the airline will be themed “This Is How To Fly.”
TargetSpot hired Roger Schnur as senior vice president for sales. The streaming media advertising firm hired Schnur away from a position as president of CDH Enterprises.
Efficient Frontier named Ellen Siminoff chairman of the board. Siminoff had previously been CEO and a board member of the search engine marketing technology firm.
Air2Web hired three new execs. The mobile marketing firm appointed Bill Jones president, Don Dysert chief financial officer, and Scott Foernsler senior vice president of marketing and agency programs.
Arkadium hired Neal Sinno as vice president of business development. Sinno joined the advergaming developer from GameTrust, which was recently purchased by Real Arcade.
Digital Element hired three execs. The IP Intelligence provider and business unit of Digital Envoy named Frank Bobo vice president of business development. Digital Element also hired Justin Skogen and Daniel Gutierrez as sales directors.
The Active Marketing Group promoted Steve Hagen to vice president/general manager. Hagen will manage the marketing and promotion agency’s Boston office.
The N.C. Triangle Affiliate of the Susan G. Komen for the Cure foundation tapped Coalmarch Productions to redesign its Web site.
Video ad insertion firm Kiptronic named Barry Briggs to its board of directors.
