Google has entered a new phase of its Asian expansion with the launch of an AdWords authorized reseller program in China. The company has anointed three Chinese firms to launch the program.
China Enterprise, China Source and Hotsales will receive training from Google and directly sell PPC keywords on its China site. Each of the companies has national reach and a strong focus on small- to mid-sized business, Google noted in a statement.
"Through the Google Authorized Reseller program, Google will be able to provide more advertisers in China with a trusted way to access Google AdWords," said Sukhinder Singh, VP of Asia-Pacific Operations for Google. "This program reflects Google's ongoing commitment to supporting the ecosystem of companies that have grown up around the AdWords program, providing support, service and advice to advertisers worldwide."
Google currently operates AdWords authorized reseller programs in the U.S., U.K., and Latin America. In the U.S., its relationship with Bellsouth targets local businesses throughout the Southeast
