Execs & Accounts: Lyris, AdMeld, Initiative

Lyris expanded its marketing team with two hires. Andrea Scarneccia, VP of marketing, previously managed e-mail, brand development, and other marketing functions for clients such as Mattel Interactive, Sega America, and Clorox. Erick Mott, communications director, was recently director of marketing and corporate communications at Habeas. He also led marketing, communications, and online community initiatives for Nokia, Philips Electronics, and two of his own start-ups.

Former Fox Interactive Media exec Michael Barrett was named CEO of AdMeld. Since May 2006 Barrett has been EVP and chief revenue officer at Fox Interactive Media, where he oversaw worldwide revenue for Fox Interactive Media properties including MySpace, IGN, FoxSports.com, Fox.com, AmericanIdol.com, and Scout.com. Prior to FIM Barrett served as EVP for sales and partnerships at AOL.

Amy Auerbach joined Initiative in New York. Auerbach is senior vice president, director of digital at the media, marketing, and digital agency.

A longtime BBDO executive joined Ultramercial's advisory board. BBDO SVP John Osborn joined Ultramercial's advisory board to spearhead its "attention-for-access" TV 2.0 initiative.

Kowabunga named Richard Howe president and chief executive officer. Howe will serve on Kowabunga's board of directors in addition to being president and CEO of the company. He was previously chief marketing, business strategy and M&A officer at Acxiom corporation.
