Carat Fusion president Toby Gabriner plans to leave the media agency after December 31, and will join ad optimization firm Poindexter Systems as CEO in the new year.
No replacement was immediately named. Isobar U.S. president Sarah Fay will act as interim president and will head up efforts to fill the post. She will continue on in her role with Isobar during the transitional period.
"I'm looking forward to working with the Carat Fusion team to build on the success that we've had by adopting a more integrated approach to digital and direct marketing, while capitalizing on the strength of our networks," Fay said.
The move comes two months after Carat Fusion emerged from two of parent company Isobar's Carat Interactive and Carat Direct.
At Poindexter, Gabriner will replace interim CEO Nil Shah. Prior CEO Rich Person left the advertising optimization firm in September. In a statement, Gabriner expressed enthusiasm for the technologies employed by Poindexter. The company helps advertisers maximize their buys with targeting and optimization tools.
"This is a tremendous value proposition and I am excited to be a part of such an innovative company," he said.
