JWT's RMG Connect brings in a senior partner; Javelin Direct names client services director; Rich LeFurgy joins1020 Placecast's board.

JWT's RMG Connect named Jay Cronin senior partner and general manager. Cronin will oversee digital and relationship marketing services for the agency's Atlanta and Dallas offices. Cronin was senior partner and management director at JWT in Atlanta, where he played a role in winning the FEMA account.

Rich LeFurgy was elected to the board of directors for 1020 Placecast. LeFurgy is a principal at Archer Advisors, and founding chairman of the Interactive Advertising Bureau.

Omnicom's Javelin Direct named Jason Brown director of client services. Brown is a founding employee of Javelin Direct, and based in the agency's Dallas office. He has over nine years of account services experience.

Guardian News and Media joined Mochila's online media marketplace. Guardian will provide syndicate multimedia content from its Guardian U.K. site.

The NewsMarket hired several executives. Brendan Goldstein, chief revenue officer, joins the company Bloomberg where he ran sales for Bloomberg Law. Cathryn Poff, VP of media, will oversee the media marketing team. Neil Steinberg, VP of client relations, was most recently at 5W Public Relations.
