AKQA signed Martin Cedergren as executive creative director. The interactive advertising agency hired Cedergren away from his position as interactive creative director at Scandinavian advertising agency Forsman and Bodenfors. Cedergren will be based at AKQA’s newly-opened Amsterdam office.
Epsilon hired two execs. The provider of multi-channel, data-driven marketing technologies and services hired Gina Carfagno as vice president, cross-channel sales, and Don Steele as senior vice president of sales within its Strategic Database Solutions group.
TMP Directional Marketing landed three new accounts. The local search advertising agency signed American Residential Services including Rescue Rooter, the Thomas Edison College of Trenton, NJ, and water purifying company Culligan.
Whyville.com hired Eric Greenwald as the executive vice president of advertising sales and business development. The virtual world for teenagers hired Greenwald from DIC Entertainment where he was senior vice president of new media sales and marketing.
Freedom Interactive named Evan Cowitt as vice president of advertising sales. The Internet subsidiary of Freedom Communications created the position for Cowitt, who was previously vice president of sales for Napster.com.
DigitalPost Interactive named Glenn Wilk as VP of business development. The Web platforms for digital media sharing and social networking provider also relocated its headquarters to the Irvine Technology Center in Irvine, CA.
M:Metrics hired Evan Neufeld as vice president, consulting and senior analyst. Neufeld's experience includes being a founding analyst of Jupiter Research's digital advertising research practice.
CraveOnline hired Jason Cange as account executive, Midwest region. The lifestyle destination for young men online tasked Cange with opening its Chicago office. He was formerly an account exec at About.com.
Metacafe added two execs to its sales team. The video Web site company hired Brent Fraser, as regional vice president, Western Sales, and Melissa Marra, as regional vice president, Eastern and Central sales.
Kettley hired Saretta Holler as its marketing communications manager. The analysis and consumer education tools and software company hired Holler away from her own creative services firm, specializing in marketing and public relations.
The Chicago White Sox tapped Performance Communications Group. The World Series champion baseball team will use the company's services to deliver a series of banner ads aimed at further building fan excitement for the new season. The banners are running on ChicagoTribune.com, ChicagoSunTimes.com, ESPN.com and other sites.
Grey Worldwide hired Steve Hardwick as president of Grey Worldwide New York. Hardwick was previously president of Strawberry Frog. The agency is a unit of Grey Global Group.
ExpoTV hired David Becker as chief marketing officer. The provider of consumer-generated video product reviews hired Becker from his position as president and chief operating officer of Beliefnet.com.
The Houston Museum of Natural Science tapped Spur Digital for its Imperial Rome exhibit. The interactive marketing agency helped launch www.HMNSrome.com, the official micro-site for the Museum's latest exhibit.
