Execs & Accounts: Yahoo, Tribal Fusion, Hill Holliday

Jeff Dossett joined Yahoo to lead the U.S. audience business. Dossett, senior vice president, U.S. audience, will oversee Yahoo's consumer experience in the United States. The position was previously held by Scott Moore, who is leaving Yahoo. Dossett previously served as executive producer and general manager for the MSN Media Network at Microsoft. He was responsible for leading strategy and execution for MSN's audience, content, and programming in the United States.

Toby Gabriner became president of online ad network Tribal Fusion. Gabriner was most recently CEO of Adzilla, and previously was CEO of marketing optimization firm [x+1]. He started his career as president of Freestyle Interactive, an interactive ad agency acquired by Carat Interactive in 2003. He served as COO and later took on the role of president of Carat Fusion.

Hill Holliday was awarded Dunkin' Donuts' digital media buying and planning responsibilities. Hill Holliday is the advertising agency of record for Dunkin' Donuts and will handle all media planning and buying across all channels.

Red Door Interactive added former McCann Worldgroup director as its business manager. David Holtze, business manager at Red Door, was most recently responsible McCann WorldGroup's NAS Recruitment Communication division's business development initiatives, and previously led its three offices in San Diego, Chicago, and Phoenix. Holtze previously served as online media buyer and planner at StarcomIP.

The Huffington Post created a mobile Web site through Crisp Wireless. The site, m.huffpost.com, will have collaborative advertising services between The Huffington Post and Crisp. The site includes coverage of the elections including top news stories, election results, and featured blog posts. It also showcases content from various sections.

Brad Harrington was named chief innovation officer at iCrossing. Harrington will drive the social media practice, identify market opportunities, and manage the development of new products and services for iCrossing. Before joining iCrossing Harrington was president of Cutwater, an agency with a roster of brands such as Jeep, Ray Ban, and Disney. Prior to Cutwater he was co-president of Seattle-based Cole & Weber.

MobileStorm hired David Pedowitz as director of engineering and principal architect. Pedowitz will be in charge of developing the next generation of the e-mail marketing company's multi-channel messaging platform and overseeing the company's day-to-day application development efforts. Pedowitz was most recently at Fox Interactive Media where he was involved with the architecture and re-engineering of the MySpace MyAds platform.

Comedy Central chose Meeby for Indecision 2008. Comedy Central will integrate Meebo Rooms, embedded chat rooms, into Indecision2008.com, to host live user commentary during election and post-election television coverage.
