Organic promotes Turinas, AnswersMedia nabs senior CNN sales exec; Earthtlink names a director of national online ad sales.

Organic hired Minna Rhee as senior vice president and general manager in its New York office. Rhee joined the digital communications agency from Avenue A/ Razorfish, and will replace Adam Turinas who was promoted to senior vice president, client engagement responsible for the Bank of America account.

AnswersMedia named John Lee as senior vice president of sales. The multi-platform HD video company hired Lee from CNN Newsource where he served as senior vice president of sales.

Scripps Networks Interactive hired Jody Jones as senior vice president. Jones is tasked with the day-to-day operations of sites in the home, food and living categories.

Earthlink named John Beck director of national online advertising sales. Prior to joining the ISP, Beck held vice president and director level positions at Experclick, Fox Interactive Media, Buzztone, Inc. and iMALL.com.

R/GA promoted Chloe Gottlieb to VP, executive creative director of Interaction Design. Gottlieb was previously an executive creative director for the agency and replaces Kip Voytek as head of the Interaction Design group.

Sony Electronics named ZAAZ as its Web creative agency of record. The interactive agency will be responsible for creative execution of Sony's marketing and advertising through its brand marketing Web sites.

The Los Angeles Times Media Group named Dr. Kamran Izadpanah VP, software engineering and architecture for latimes.com. Before joining latimes.com, Izadpanah served as the executive director of software development at Edmunds.com.

SEMDirector named Keith Krach to its executive advisory board. Krach, CEO of 3 Points LLC and co-founder and former chairman and CEO of Ariba, is the tenth addition to the search marketing automation company’s board.

Blinkx hired four execs. The video search engine firm hired John Bryan and Marco Nadotti as directors of content acquisition. The firm also hired Gavin Morgan to drive its syndication strategy in Europe, and Onil Gunawardana to direct strategy and development for its contextual video advertising platform, AdHoc.

Wizzard Media hired two execs. The podcast ad sales unit of Wizzard Software named Robert Walch VP of podcaster relations, and Lilith Rugel director of advertising sales operations.

Burst Media named Ryan Gould outside account executive for the New York City office. Gould was previously an inside account executive in Burst Media's Burlington, MA headquarters.
