Execs & Accounts: Platform-A, Double Fusion, Red Door Interactive

Scottrade renews its deal with Platform-A; Double Fusion hires a VP of business development, and Red Door Interactive tweets a social media campaign for Souplantation.

Scottrade expands its relationship with Platform-A. Scottrade renewed its partnership with AOL's Platform-A; the partnership was expanded to enable Scottrade to reach consumers via advertising and distribution deals on AOL's Mediaglow's financial-related content properties. Mediaglow properties include AOL Money & Finance, Walletpop.com, Bloggingstocks.com, and AOL News. As part of the deal, Scottrade has also been included as a featured broker on AOL Money & Finance.

Double Fusion hires a biz dev exec. Monika Madrid was named vice president of business development at Double Fusion, an in-game advertising network. Madrid's experience includes serving as senior director of business development at LiveGamer and time at Ubisoft where she ran the North American licensing and strategic sales businesses. She also worked at IGN.com in business development and marketing roles, and is on the advisory board of Women in Games International.

Souplantation tweets to hungry followers. Souplantation and Sweet Tomatoes restaurants launched social media campaigns on Twitter and Facebook to increase customer loyalty and istore traffic. The campaigns were created by Internet presence management firm Red Door Interactive.

Experian's CheetahMail hires former Spiegel VP. CheetahMail retained Yun-Hui Chong as vice president of strategic services. Most recently Chong was vice president of e-commerce for Spiegel Brands. She spearheaded the launch of the Newport News e-commerce Web site, which is now part of Spiegel, and also worked at Victoria's Secret Direct. In her current role he will lead the strategic services group of both CheetahMail and Experian Marketing Services brands.

MediaNews gets online classifieds from Adicio. Adicio is providing online real estate classifieds for 12 sites owned by MediaNews Group. Sites include LowellSun.com, Homes in York, and TwinCities.com.

TAN adds hospitality and hotel publishers. Vertical ad network Travel Ad Network increased its publishers with the addition of ELG Hospitality's BedandBreakfast.com and Inns.com.

Mintz & Hoke hired a technical lead. Roy Donnelly was named technical lead in the communication company's interactive group. He will manage the digital development team and the creation of Web sites, digital media projects, and other interactive communications. Previously he spent three years as lead developer at United Health Group.

Kaltura runs video for AthletixNation. Multimedia sports content platform AthletixNation has turned to Kaltura to provide open source, user-editable video for Division I college sports video content on its site and for distribution on other sites.

Quova geotargets in Latin America. IP geolocation data provider will provide its services for Realmedia Latin America. The partnership extends the reach of Realmedia Latin America's Open AdStream, an ad serving technology comprised of network and site-specific advertising.

WhereTraveler gets a CityPass. Travel guide WhereTraveler partnered with CityPass to develop a mobile travel guide for the iPhone and an upcoming version of the BlackBerry.
