Timberland selects Range Online Media. Range, an interactive marketing agency, will handle the footwear and apparel company’s paid search marketing.

Sony gets “Obsessed” for its upcoming movie. An online viral campaign for the release of the upcoming Sony film, “Obsessed,” starring actress Ali Larter features a video that fans can personalize and send to friends. The work was done by viral marketing agency Jetset Studios and can be found at getobsessedwithali.com.

Razorfish closes offices in Boston and Fort Lauderdale.A week after the Microsoft-owned online ad agency said it was moving toward a “globally run organization,” it’s reportedly shuttering its two smallest offices. PaidContent said about 60 employees will be affected; most will work remotely from home or from clients’ offices, while others will be transferred to other Razorfish offices. The ad agency is also said to be looking for new office space for its Los Angeles and Portland, OR, offices.
