David Moore Returns to CEO Spot at 24/7 Real Media

david-moore-l David Moore, the founder, chairman, and former CEO at 24/7 Real Media, is returning to the top spot at the WPP-owned ad network and technology firm.

Moore replaces Jonathan Hsu, CEO for the past two years, as Hsu transitions to chief executive at New York City start-up RecycleBank. RecycleBank's tech platform rewards people for taking positive environmental actions, and includes opportunities for advertisers.

In a parting gesture of goodwill, the companies suggested WPP will work with RecycleBank to offer green rewards programs to its global clients. Additionally, Hsu was named a founding member of a new global advisory tech council being created by Dublin-based WPP. The council will include digital marketing technologists, entrepreneurs, and other celebrated figures in the ad tech arena, who will advise the holding company on digital ad platforms and operations. For now, however, it's a council of one, as no other members were named today.

Hsu was an employee of 24/7 Real Media for 10 years. Prior to ascending to CEO, he was chief operating officer, CFO, and a corporate development exec in charge of partnerships and venture activities.
