Deep Focus Adds New Managing Director and First ECD. The interactive marketing agency hired Amy Eagle as managing director. She was previously general manager at global mobile marketing agency The Hyperfactory.

In addition, Deep Focus promoted Ken Kraemer (left, image credit Deep Focus) to executive creative director. Kraemer has been with the company since 2009 as group creative director. He said the addition of the a creative director on the executive level will allow the agency to evolve and create more excellent content and user experiences in the future.

Swedish Investment Enables Burt to Expand Globally. Online advertising software developer Burt has received over 2.2 million dollars US in investments from Swedish company Industrifonden. The funds will enable Burt to expand from its Swedish headquarters to establish offices in the USA and UK. In addition Burt will continue development of its analytics platform "Rich."
