Walgreens has partnered with the rock band OK Go for a Back To School campaign that has its own dedicated Facebook page. Targeting college students in an effort dubbed "Walgreens Swag", those who "like" the brand can learn how to win backstage passes for one of the group's concerts.
If they buy two grooming/cosmetics products by clicking through to Walgreens.com, consumers are rewarded with a complimentary OK Go song download. The purchases also enter them into a chance to win the backstage passes.
Created by the digital shops Digitas and Alloy Media + Marketing, the one-week-old effort has garnered around 8,400 "likes" thus far.
