Pandora Hires Chief Marketing Officer. The personalized Internet radio brand tapped Simon Fleming-Wood to be its first CMO. Fleming-Wood was previously VP of marketing at Pure Digital Technologies. His hire comes as Pandora faces perhaps its most formidable challenge to date, with the launch of Spotify in the U.S. and that company's deep integration with Facebook.
GSI Commerce Names Simone Barratt President of e-Dialog. Before taking charge of the in-house agency, she was president of GSI Global Marketing Services International. In other e-Dialog appointments, Christian Wright was named GM of e-Dialog Americas, and Luke Griffiths was promoted to GM of e-Dialog U.K.
Gannett Digital Hires GM of Social Commerce. Rajan Mohan is responsible for the development of Gannett's Deal Chicken social commerce product. He was most recently general manager of Local.com's in-house properties. Earlier he was director of web search and local for AOL Europe.
AdLux Comes to U.S. The Australia-based pay per click network hired Darren Huey as director of account services in North America. Based in the company’s San Francisco office, Huey will seek out new ad clients. He joins from LookSmart, where he worked for eight years in various account management roles.
