eBay assigns digital account to Digitas, according to a source. AdAge first reported the story, noting the account includes digital media and creative. Organic and Swirl were the other pitch finalists.
180LA president named global CEO. Michael Allen, managing Partner 180 Los Angeles, will continue to oversee that location while also leading the agency's global growth efforts including through its other outpost in Amsterdam.
British Airways taps OgilvyOne. Agency will be global lead for digital ads, according to a report by Campaign. SapientNitro and AKQA also participated in the review.
Pandora makes sales hires. Tommy Pizzo, most recently with BrightRoll, joins as regional VP of East Coast sales, based in New York. Brian Colbert, previously with ESPN, will be VP of mobile ad sales. Brian Mikalis was promoted to SVP of monetization and mid-market sales. He was previously in charge of managing Pandora’s "discretionary" ad inventory.
Global CEO Jean-Phillipe Maheu has left Publicis Modem, says AgencySpy. According to the post, the global leadership job has been eliminated, and offices will now report to regional CEOs.
