The Los Angeles Kings have continued the celebration from last night's Stanley Cup win over the New Jersey Devils through their official team Twitter page. The Kings are using Instagram to show LA hockey fan photos from an unforgettable night.
With pictures of Jonathon Quick holding the Conn Smythe Trophy to an image of the team huddled around Lord Stanley's Cup, the team used Instagram to keep fans updated on the post-game celebration. A total of six Instagram photos have been posted since the final buzzer in Game Six of the Stanley Cup Finals.
The Kings are also using Twitter to share in-game updates with the fans with almost 40 posts from their page during the course of the game. On Facebook, the Kings timeline was updated to feature a photo of the team gathered around the Stanley Cup.
At the opposite end of the spectrum are the New Jersey Devils, who were defeated by the Kings in last night's matchup. The Devils are using their social media pages to thank fans for their constant support of the team throughout an unexpected playoff run. On Facebook, the Devils have updated their timeline photo to an image with Devils players raising their sticks high to a caption of "THANK YOU FANS!"
On Twitter, the Devils have multiple links to post-game interviews and articles that consist of players and coaches talking about how proud they are of the run they made and also thanking the fans for their support.
