Native advertising has been big news recently as the industry is trying to figure out if it is the next big thing or just the flavor of the month.
ClickZ speaks to Teal Newland, vice president, revenue and brand strategy at StumbleUpon; and Jonathan Perelman, vice president of strategy and industry development at Buzzfeed, to get their views on how marketers can embrace native advertising.
Newland and Perelman also talk about the most important elements to consider when creating advertising coupled with editorial. They discuss the issues around consumer trust, as well as the role that old fashioned creativity plays in the new world.
