Susan Wojcicki, senior vice president of advertising for Google, will take over as the next YouTube CEO, replacing Salar Kamangar.

A longtime Google leader, Wojcicki is expected to bring her experience in advertising to establish a sustainable revenue system for content creators at YouTube.

Google has never given away YouTube’s financial information, but eMarketer estimates that YouTube generated $5.6 billion in gross ad revenue last year. It’s unclear how much the site pays out to creators and channel, but content creators are said to have been struggling to make money on the platform.

As a veteran in Google ads, Wojcicki would be a good fit to help YouTube solve its creator revenue issue. Let’s see if she will help to overhaul YouTube and become a legendary leader of Google.
