Smirnoff launched the Guiltless Pleasures Pinterest Contest in an effort to promote its new vodka flavor, Sorbet Light Pineapple Coconut.
To celebrate its new vodka offering, Smirnoff Sorbet Light Pineapple Coconut, the liquor brand has launched the Guiltless Pleasures Pinterest Contest, which allows consumers to pin whatever they love in life.
"With the launch of Smirnoff Sorbet Light Pineapple Coconut, we wanted to remove the compromise from not only our consumers' cocktails, but from other areas of their lives as well," says Sandhya Padmanabhan, brand manager at Smirnoff.
From February 5 to March 26, consumers of legal drinking age can enter by filling out a brief entry form on the contest's landing page, and then submitting a pin to confess their "guilty pleasures." (Or should we say guiltless pleasures?) The pin should be accompanied by a brief description of 140 characters or less, with the hashtag #SMIRNOFFSorbet.
"Smirnoff Sorbet Light Pineapple Coconut allows for guiltless mixing, as it delivers delicious taste at only 78 calories per serving," Padmanabhan tells ClickZ. "We're here to celebrate life's guiltless pleasures with the Smirnoff Sorbet Light Pineapple Coconut Guiltless Pleasures Contest on Pinterest and help our consumers make their goals a reality."
After the contest closes on March 26, the vodka brand will select three lucky winners and reward them with $5,000 each to help bring their pins to life.
