The way we travel is changing. While not so long ago our options were limited to the package holidays offered by high street travel agents, the rise of social has opened up opportunities for a wealth of new experiences.

Airbnb offers us a taste of how people live elsewhere, giving us authentic experiences of our destinations, while Uber is making the headache of finding taxis in new places a thing of the past.

As the sharing economy opens up new platforms and our appetite for adventure matures, what can we expect next in the travel industry?

StrategyEye’s next knowledge and networking event The Future of Travel will provide some insight into what’s in store for the sector.

Established travel businesses Expedia and HostelWorld have been confirmed to speak on the evening, which promises to be an inspiring mix of knowledge sharing, networking and discussion about what the future holds for the world of travel.

Start-ups Hostmaker, Tripster and Triptease will each pitch about how they’re disrupting the industry in different ways.

The evening will close on a networking reception with drinks and pizza with senior executives, investors and entrepreneurs involved in travel.
