24/7 Media Selects MTI Enterprise Storage

Ad network 24/7 Media Inc. selected MTI Technology Corp.’s Fibre Channel-based storage systems to support the company’s targeting operations.

MTI RAID storage servers will support 24/7’s Profilz, an online database of Web user profiles used to deliver targeted marketing campaigns. 24/7 Media will use MTI’s technology to manage customer reporting, database and data warehousing applications.

MTI said its Gladiator family of storage solutions, which offers scalability with Fibre Channel connectivity, will be used to provide 24/7 Media with a path toward future implementation of Storage Area Network (SAN) technologies. 24/7 Media plans to implement the Gladiator 6700, a modular, highly fault-tolerant storage solution that employs Fibre Channel serial interconnect technology. Spending was not disclosed.
