3Dfx Interactive Inc.in San Jose, CA said it signed with Goodby, Silverstein & Partners advertising, Porter Novelli public relations,Copithorne & Bellows public relations, and Red Sky Interactive for branding in the U.S.
In Europe, the company selected Text 100 public relations and Bastion marketing communications. Billings were not disclosed.
3Dfx markets 3D graphic accelerators, provides game developer support and offers a compatible software library, targeting consumers, game enthusiasts, hardware manufacturers and retailers.

The company said that Goodby, Silverstein will lead the effort to build 3Dfx brand equity. The complementary consumer public relations effort will be led by Porter Novelli.
