Active Home Internet Users by Country, September 2006

September gains in Internet connectivity were incremental in the 10 countries tracked by Nielsen//NetRatings.

The number of active home users increased in France, Italy and Spain. The number of users went down in Australia, Brazil, Germany, Japan, Switzerland, the U.K., and the U.S.

Nielsen//NetRatings uses a sampling methodology applied worldwide, which allows for data aggregation on a regional and global basis.
