The extension doesn’t block all ads, but rather lets you right click to block select ads at the source.

People aren’t talking much about online ad suppression these days. After pop-ups were effectively killed as a reach buy, the topic seemed to fade away. But if these download numbers are to be believed, the practice is alive and kicking.
