The company’s first-round investors, Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, The Walden Group, and Partech International, as well as new investors, Tokyo-based Techno-Venture Co., Ltd. and GeoCapital Corp., also participated.
Samantha McCuen, vice president of Sandler Capital Management, will represent her firm on AdKnowledge’s board of directors. Also new to the board of directors is Philippe Cases, a partner in Partech International.
Other board members include Scott Kauffman, president and chief executive officer of AdKnowledge; Russell Siegelman, partner of Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers; and Steve Eskenazi, managing general partner of Walden Media and Information Technology Fund LP.
“AdKnowledge has emerged as a leader in Web advertising, and the company has successfully built a highly experienced and unique management team,” said McCuen of Sandler. “Building on our investments in, and relationships with, leading advertising rep firms and other advertising-related businesses, we are extremely enthusiastic about the opportunity for AdKnowledge to be a key player in this market.”
