CMGI subsidiary Adsmart this week announced a new division dedicated to improving the profitability of Web sites.
Adsmart Consulting will offer sites strategic advice on how to increase page impressions and usability of a site, as well as ideas for establishing additional revenue opportunities. In addition, the group will provide detailed research on the sites’ competitive landscape and offer suggestions on how to make individual sites more advertiser-friendly.
“We formed Adsmart Consulting because we’re dedicated to developing close partnerships with the Web sites in our network, and we understand the importance of continuously improving content to leverage brand equity,” said John Federman, chairman and CEO of Adsmart.
“The feedback we’ve gotten from our partners has been terrific; they’re all eager to work closely with us to improve their site’s viability. Our extensive background in both Internet advertising and publishing, and our day-to-day experience in Internet sales, give us the unique expertise to give these sites strategic counsel.”
Adsmart Consulting will be provided to sites within the Adsmart Network as a complimentary service, the company said.
