AdStar.com, the site that aggregates advertising opportunities for print and online classifieds, on Thursday struck a deal with business publication dbusiness.com, which will bring AdStar.com’s classifieds onto dbusiness.com‘s site.
The deal gives AdStar.com more distribution for its Advertise123.com Web site, and lets dbusiness.com offer its members more content and opportunities to advertise. Financial terms of the deal weren’t disclosed.
“We have a lot of crossover in the types of customers and markets we both serve,” said Bob Larsen, vice president of business development and strategy.
“For example, a business owner in Los Angeles who uses dbusiness.com for local business news and information relevant for running their business, can now use our site to place classified ads in the leading local newspapers such as the Los Angeles Times, LA Daily News, Orange County Register, Torrance Daily Breeze and others. These newspapers reach millions of prospects in their local markets, so they can drive buyers to our users’ businesses whether they are clicks or bricks. Our alliance with AdStar.com makes perfect sense.”
