AdForum’s Agency Preview, a global database of advertising agencies and their creative work, said that Publicis, Europe’s largest network of advertising agencies, has signed a contract to post data about 29 of its offices.
AdForum.com. is used by advertisers and consultants to identify ad agencies from around the world for account assignments or special projects. It offers agency profiles and creative portfolios for advertisers to review. In addition to attracting business, agencies can use the site for creative analysis and benchmarking as well as network building.
AdForum provides a showcase for an agency’s broadcast, print, and multi media work. The Publicis agreement comprises full-service agencies in Germany, France, Spain, Holland, Belgium, Austria, Switzerland, Poland and the United States, a range of specialized agencies with media buying shops such as Optimedia and More Media along with industry specialists such as Publicis et Nous (luxury goods expert agency) and Publicis Technology group.
More than 30 advertising agencies in the United States and Europe have already posted data to AdForum.com. As the site is built out in the coming year, it plans to become a portal for the advertising community with editorial content, interactive services, newsgroups and email.
AdForum includes include searchable agency information such as size, location, competencies, specialties, billing clients, number of employees, awards, corporate philosophy, network affiliation, and trade organization membership. Agencies can also be sorted according to corporate objectives and data such as account conflicts. Subscribing agencies can also have links to their agency web sites, list email contacts and present animated presentations about their services.
AdForum is owned and operated by MayDream, incorporated in Luxembourg and owner of Virgule Bleue SARL, a French company that provides technical development and information systems.
