In its newest version, DoubleClick's media planning product gets a bit more malleable.
DoubleClick has upgraded its media planning solution with more flexible back-end features.
MediaVisor clients can now import and export their media plans, customize email templates for RFPs and insertion orders, and create customized fields for media placements. The latter feature is designed to help agencies interact better with select publishers, DoubleClick said.
MediaVisor now also supports billing integration with AdWare Systems, an ASP billing tool used widely in offline marketing.
The changes are the latest in a series the company is making to its DART ad management tools. Other recent upgrades include reporting add-ons in its DFA ReportCentral and DFP Query tools, and the introduction of streaming video through Motif.
Additionally, DoubleClick recently exited the site analytics business, folding its SiteAdvance product and partnering instead with Omniture’s SiteCatalyst.
Other elements of the DART product suite include DART for Publishers, DART for Advertisers, the Motif rich media product and the SiteDirectory media catalog.
