As part of a five-year plan to secure its future, Argos is waving goodbye to its old-school ways and embracing all things digital by introducing iPads in six stores across the UK.
As part of a five-year plan to secure its future, Argos is waving goodbye to its old-school ways and embracing all things digital by introducing iPads in six stores across the UK.
Rather than flicking through a catalogue, shoppers will instead be faced with voice-activated computer systems, iPads, free Wi-Fi and digital screens flashing up adverts.
The first revamped store was opened in Old Street, east London, on Tuesday. CEO John Walden has plans to open five additional stores across the UK before Christmas.
