Avenue A Selected as Online AOR for Expedia.com

Avenue A Inc. said it has been chosen asonline media agency of record for online travel service Expedia.com.

Avenue A Inc. said it has been chosen as online media agency of record for online travel service Expedia.com.

Avenue A will provide media strategy, media planning, media buying, third-party ad serving, and data collection and analysis for Expedia.com.

Billings were not disclosed.

“Avenue A has the integration of service and technology necessary to deliver a comprehensive online media solution,” said Erik Blachford, director of marketing for Expedia.com.

“Working with Avenue A will allow us to gain new efficiencies from our online media spending.”

Avenue clients include Eddie Bauer, TickmasterOnline-CitySearch, Gateway, Inc., RealNetworks and uBid.com.
