Banks warned they must take advantage of digital marketing before it's too late

A recent report put together by Efma and Wipro has highlighted that banks are failing to modernise and take full advantage of the opportunities offered to them by digital marketing.

The first ever Global Retail Banking Digital Marketing Report has highlighted that banks are not taking full advantages of the opportunities offered to them by digital marketing.

The report, put together by Efma and Wipro technologies, examines the effect of digital on banking and credit unions, and highlights how many are failing to utilise digital marketing to enhance their brand.

“Banks everywhere are putting online and mobile banking at- or near the top of their agendas,” commented Rajan Kohli, VP/Banking and Financial Services at Wipro. “There is still a high degree of uncertainty because banks are still learning, and the digital environment is constantly changing.”
