romneycard.jpgThe true sign of online clout for a presidential candidate? Some say it’s the number of times a candidate’s name has been searched for. But this one’s more fun (and completely unscientific): online baseball card prices.

When considering the Web retail cost of a recent series of retro-style baseball cards featuring popular presidential candidates, McCain, Clinton and Obama are on a level playing field when it comes to potential at the polls. Romney, on the other hand, has a lower “ceiling,” to use a sports-geek term.
