Rayport currently holds a Harvard Business School faculty appointment, where his research focuses on the impact of new information technologies on service management and marketing strategies for business. He is also directing a new research unit, called the Marketspace Center, at Monitor Company, a global strategy firm headquartered in Cambridge, MA..

Be Free’s branded affiliate networks help online retailers drive revenue by selling products “in context” on affiliate Web sites. With more than 65,000 affiliates in their networks, Be Free’s clients include barnesandnoble.com, Travelocity, Electronic Newsstand, Reel.com, Verisign and Network Solutions. The company’s product offering includes the BFAST affiliate network technology and the BFIT targeted advertising delivery system.
