A more conservative estimate was released in November, 1998, by Grid Electronic Publishing Consultancy of Brussels. Grid claims there are 369,000 Internet users in Belgium, and the number of Internet users in Belgium will reach 416,000 by the end of 2000.
Both surveys agree the number of Internet users in Belgium is growing, the question is how fast.
The Internet Service Providers Association of Brussels reports there were 207,277 registered ISP subscribers in Belgium in November of 1998.
