giftpoint.com has selected Beyond Interactive to launch an online advertising campaign for the holiday season to promote its site as a destination for gift givers and a source for non-traditional gift purchases.
Media spending will exceed $1 million in the next two months.
The Web-based gift certificate sales operation developed an instant win game, The Great Gift Certificate Giveaway, in which $25,000 in gift certificates ranging from $10 to $1,000 will be given away.
The program includes an interactive game during which site visitors are eligible to win.
Beyond Interactive said it developed an interactive marketing strategy that includes a variety of media placements, email retention tools and viral marketing incentives.
Media for the promotion will run across a number of branded sites and networks, including About.com, Talk City, Yahoo and 24/7.
Beyond Interactive, a subsidiary of Grey Advertising, has clients that include Nickelodeon, PlanetRx.com, FortuneCity.com and PetStore.com.
