Web services firm Beyond Interactive announced Thursday it would team up with MessageMedia to bring permission-based email marketing capabilities to its clients.
“This medium continues to produce stellar results for marketers, if practiced correctly,” says Liz Wallace, senior vice president of sales and service at MessageMedia.
“Beyond Interactive is a savvy agency known for identifying successful marketing tools before their competitors acknowledge the practice.”
The partnership comes as interactive agencies, and holding companies like CMGI, are rushing to add email marketing to their arsenal of services.
CMGI purchased yesmail.com earlier this week, and DoubleClick two weeks ago announced an email marketing strategy and bought Opt-In Email.com.
The first client to benefit from the Beyond Interactive, MessageMedia partnership will be mobile telecommunications firm AirTouch, which is launching an outbound e-messaging and database management program.
