BID.Com Plans Targeted Marketing Campaign on Netscape's Netcenter

Internet Liquidators in Torontosaid its online auction operation BID.COM will be launching a targeted promotionalcampaign on Netscape's NetCenter starting June 1.

Internet Liquidators in Toronto said its online auction operation BID.COM will be launching a targeted promotional campaign on Netscape’s NetCenter starting June 1.

Excite has been selected to power Netscape’s branded search service on NetCenter. BID.COM will be accessible on Netscape’s branded search. Financial arrangements were not disclosed.

“By adding Netscape to our existing relationships with AOL and Yahoo, we have further diversified and broadened our exposure,” said Jeff Lymburner, president of Internet Liquidators USA Inc. “We are confident that our distribution strategy now encompasses the strongest possible partners in the online world.”

BID.COM auctions offer consumer products in over a dozen categories, and run twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. Internet Liquidators International was founded in 1995. In the past year, the company has announced major distribution agreements and strategic alliances with America Online, GTE Media Ventures, The Toronto Star Newspapers Limited, and Yahoo
