Microsoft’s Bing engine continued to grow its U.S. market share in February, according to data from comScore.
The engine has consistently grown its share of searches over the past six months, reaching a 13.6 percent market share in February compared with 11.2 percent of searches in September. Meanwhile, market leader Google has seen its own share of searches dip in that period, from 66.1 percent in September to 65.4 percent in February.
Microsoft’s search alliance partner Yahoo has seen its own share remain relatively flat over that time period, dipping slightly from 16.7 percent of searches in September to 16.1 percent in February.
