Chevrolet and Madonna Sign On for Live Earth Via MSN

MadonnaCar.jpgLive Earth, the worldwide concert event benefiting environmental causes and promoted by MSN, Al Gore and others, has signed on Chevrolet as a worldwide sponsor, and is making downloads of a brand new song from Madonna available free.

The event is scheduled to occur on July 7th of this year with concerts taking place on all of the continents simultaneously (except Antarctica), and simulcast via MSN. To help build momentum as the event approaches, singer Madonna is making her new song “Hey You” available for free from the site, while Chevrolet is being integrated throughout the network, and provided with advertising space across multiple platforms including MSN, Windows Live Messenger and Windows Live Spaces. The car company is trying to promote test marketing of its zero-emissions vehicles, the Chevy Fuel Cell Equinox, by the general public in Los Angeles, Washington, DC and the New York metropolitan area later this year.
