CKS Group Wins Hewlett-Packard Web Marketing Projects

CKS Group Inc. said its Portland, OR office won contracts to creating Web sites for two Hewlett-Packard LaserJet product families.
The sites will offer pre-sales information and be targeted at a business audience with the objective of moving customers from general interest to Hewlett-Packard preference to an actual purchase, the company said. Billings were not disclosed.
“CKS Portland won our business due to their high level of personal attention, technical expertise, and responsiveness to our issues,” said Julie Coffin, Internet Marketing, Personal LaserJet Division at H-P. “They directly addressed our objectives by demonstrating a strong understanding of business to business marketing and presenting strong online case studies.”
CKS Portland will create online product branding communications that extend beyond individual features and benefits. The ultimate goal, the firm stated, is to further educate customers on the productivity benefits they will realize from Hewlett- Packard LaserJet printers and technology, leading to confident purchase decisions.
CKS Group is a provider of marketing communication programs that utilize both traditional marketing disciplines, such as product branding and advertising, as well as advanced technology solutions and new media.
